Mycenae and Nafplio for Families (Self-Drive)

The journey begins!
Exit the hustle and bustle of the city center towards the serene Greek countryside of the Peloponnese.

On your way, you shouldn’t miss a short stop at the Isthmus of Corinth to marvel on the Corinth Canal.

You will then drive towards Agamemnon’s kingdom to visit Mycenae’s “golden” city, being one of the most thriving cities of ancient Greece and the epicenter of the Mycenaean civilization.

Your local state-licensed guide will be waiting for you at the entrance of the archeological site. Undoubtedly, the children will be blown away by this
evocative site while your guide will bring to life the past stories in the most engaging way.

Once your guided tour is over, you will visit a ceramics factory, just 5 kilometers away, where you will participate in a fun pottery workshop.

Your journey can then continue with a visit to the Venetian seafront town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece and one of Greece’s most picturesque Cities. Alternatively, you could extend your historical exploration by visiting Epidaurus’s archeological site.
