In the company of our “Insider”, expert in educational games for children, your experience will start with a short walk passing by some of the major sites of the city, on your way to the starting point of the game.Learn about the birth of Democracy through the revival of the ‘Ecclesia’, the principal assembly of the ancient Athenian Democracy, while also participating in theatrical and learning games, riddle-solving, and creative arts & crafts activities. The kids will experience life in ancient Athens: how did they dress? What did they do for fun? Why did they vote? And much more.

An entertaining and educational activity for families with children that are looking for a fun way to learn the history of Classical times and to discover how one of the most famous and beautiful cities of the ancient times was born.

Since this activity includes walking, you will need to be wearing comfortable shoes, a hat and sun-block. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle and lots of energy!

"This activity was a favorite with my kids. They really enjoyed dressing up like ancient Athenians. My youngest loved learning to write her name in Greek and has been writing everything in Greek since our tour. They loved playing statue and learned a lot on the walking tour. The snack was good and the craft was fun. The length of the tour was also good, perfect to catch their attention and enjoy, but not so long they got bored. The only thing I would do differently is not put the goodies we got in a carryon on the way home. Security took our olive oil and the tangerine treat, before we even got to try them. Overall a great tour."
